My Belief in Jesus Christ

I watched the memorial service for Charlie Kirk last Sunday, and I can't help but think about how historic of a time we are in right now. Maybe I'm being bias, or maybe these times will be spoken about years to come, and not just by our political climate. I feel like my reasoning is deeper than the shock, drama, and terror.
We're at the beginning of something, like an era. Or maybe it's the end of it all. But damn, look at everything we've been through in just the past 100 years. Airplanes, cars, roads, public schools, wars, civil strife, rock music, hip hop, everything electronic, the Internet, phones, movies, video games, and a bunch of new wacky religions. Maybe the same can be said about other centuries, but this one here is the first one with more visual documentation of historic events. We will be where people flip the page to. This is where shit starts to get real, and we're here now, experiencing it. We are apart of something so grand, and if you understand too, then welcome aboard, my friend. These next few years are going to be wild.
I don't know how to continue this. There is a lot on my mind. There are truths that I can't ignore. And I struggle to make sense of it all. When I'm confused, I turn to God, and then it all makes sense again. I end up truly appreciating this life that I'm living, but there are still times that will make me question what exactly this all is. I can't help it. I'm naturally curious.
There is the extremely abstract model of beings that are as powerful as Jesus was. And I get that, we're made from God, and there is locked potential in all of us. The belief I have is, there are strong possibilities that the human mind and body can achieve, but we have spiritual blocks. Sin is rebellion against God, and that rebellion creates a spiritual block between us and Him. That's what I believe to be true, and when I say we all have sin, it's nothing personal. I still love my family & friends, but recognize we aren't quite there yet. And when someone does get there through intense spiritual training (or born with a strong spiritual mind) perhaps that's when Jesus returns to reclaim his place as king? Not sure, but plausible in quantum terms.
And again, I say this not to be mean, but we all have sinned, whereas Jesus Christ Himself never sinned, despite all the temptation brought forward to Him. Jesus fought back against sin His entire life, and overcame sin when it tempted Him. The same simply cannot be said about every single person living here today. We all have did one thing that Jesus would have never done, as He lived a Perfect Life. And maybe those sins aren't substantial enough to be a full-blown confession, like stealing that candy at 7-11 when we were a kid won't profoundly affect us now, but the facts are there. We have all fallen short of the Glory of God one way or another, and that must be recognized, no matter how good of a person we think we are.
Everything we have done in our lives won't be forgotten, even if we forget and move on ourselves. We may feel better now, and that sense of deep regret no longer lingers, but still, everything we do is the blueprint to who we are, and God knows all. And you know, the fascinating thing that non-believers, well, don't believe, is that Jesus is God. I don't know how I can ever believe otherwise. Whatever your belief about where God is now, outward or inward, God was here on Earth in the flesh. God brought Himself down to our level. He didn't need to, but He experienced a torturous execution, so our human body may go down the same path He did after death.
I think what sets me apart from most Christians is I came from a different place. I wasn't born into a traditional Christian household. We went to church when I was young, but when I started going to school, church gradually stopped. I still held onto my belief though, in the form of a chain necklace, but I stopped wearing it when I turned 15 years old, thanks to being exposed to the Internet, and distrust in our government after 9/11. It wasn't until 10 years later, when I found Christ again, listening to Kanye West on my phone while walking home in the rain. This is when I moved to Maine, a whole 'nother story for another blog.
So, before turning to Christ, I was heavily involved in the esoteric, and still am, just less heavy. Those were a spiritual catalyst into my Christian beliefs, which made things a lot easier to understand, yet at the same time, they separate me from Christians with a more scientific approach.
You see, we're all energy - energy that doesn't know fucking anything. We are just floating in space, trying to make sense of this all, as most of us turn to God for answers. We're energy, and energy has to go somewhere. The problem is, we don't know where to go. No one can tell me right now, with absolutely certainty, what happens to us when we die, or where to go, what to do when we're no longer here.
There are theories, but as people say to the Bible, where is the evidence? Christians, on the other hand, don't need evidence, when they have faith. That belief is Jesus Christ is the answer to eternal reconciliation with our Lord Almighty. Jesus, a man who multiplied fish, walked on water, and turned water into wine, was killed so a path to eternal salvation may be opened up for us.
The Soul of God pierced through dimensions so we may follow. Every other belief will tell you all you need is your body and mind, and that sounds nice, but it appears to fall into the egotistical territory. We don't know everything, and you can't convince me, unless you show me evidence of everything. In the meantime, I will put my faith in Jesus.
(So, non-believers, what or who will you put your faith into?) (You don't need to answer, I'm just fucking around.)
This is not an insult, just a fact. We don't know everything, and that's okay. We can try to make sense of things, like how the planet earth is somehow pressed against the fabric of space, which in turn creates our gravitational field. But it all amounts to nothing, really. It's fun, new discoveries are entertaining. We are a smart bunch of hairless apes. To God, these great feats of mankind are cute, and that's okay, because He still Loves Us.
One of the best parts of my belief (I believe) is God walking here with us, as Jesus Christ. To me, that is the most beautiful event to ever happen in history thus far (let's go Revelation!). I know there are people who doubt God's presence as a man on earth, for their own reasons, but damn, I wonder if they can have some empathy and feel what I feel. Because I'm not lost. I will never be lost. I have Jesus to guide me, and I will take His Hand when I die. I Thank you My Lord. Forever and Always. Thank You.
I want to read the bible more. I want to be able to change minds, and inspire people, but for now, I have this think-piece. A blog if you will. I hope people who don't understand Jesus much will get where I'm coming from, and those who are experienced believers to bless me, and assist me in my Path to Glory.
Thanks for reading, and may God Bless Your Soul in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
